Em comes from a DIY family and grew up learning to build and fix things with her father and Papaw. As an adult, Em became a real estate investor and she used these skills for the repairs of her own properties. All of this experience led naturally to obtaining her license as a GC in 2022. She has worked on everything from new stick builds, to installing new mobile homes, bathroom remodels and porch builds and repairs.

Em is passionate about providing safe, affordable housing and is the co-founder of InvestHER Asheville, a nationwide organization aimed at helping women live financially free lives. She is an active community member and has a roster of trusted tradespeople, vendors, lenders and investors she has built by being a leader and delivering results.
